Incoming invoices are scanned by us on an ongoing basis. Each invoice is then checked, paid and uploaded to an online portal. You can log in to this portal from home and access the invoice there. If you also want to review the payment, you simply use your bank access to view the property's bank account. In this way you can track all receipts and the transactions we have carried out throughout the year.

A real-world example: renovation after fire damage

In 2020, negligence caused a fire in the basement of a homeowners' association on Pestalozzistrasse in the Vorderer Westen district of Kassel. Fortunately, no one was injured. However, the basement including the building services burned out completely and the property was uninhabitable for several months. As a result, we planned and coordinated a full renovation. After removing all of the wall plaster, the wall was cleaned by sandblasting. The gas and electricity lines as well as the electricity meter box were then renewed and re-plastered. The damage amounted to a six-figure sum and could be settled in full with the building insurance. Five local trade businesses were involved.

In one homeowners' association, several co-owners were not paying their service charges. After taking over the property management in 2019, the association decided to collect these charges. We then reviewed and cleanly documented the demonstrable arrears for each co-owner. We subsequently worked with a lawyer specialising in HOA law to successfully enforce the claims in court. In the end, all amounts were transferred to the homeowners' association's bank account.

For a client in northern Hesse, we handle the bookkeeping and accounting for 5 apartment buildings.
